Characteristics of Alumina Ceramic Wafer
Alumina ceramic wafer is a special corundum ceramic made of AL2O3 as the main raw material. It uses rare metal oxide as flux and roast at a high temperature of 1,700 degrees. Al2O3 ceramics have high alumina content and relatively fine structure with special functions. For this reason, it calls special ceramics. Al2O3 Ceramic material is a dense hexagonal structure compose of oxygen ions. Aluminum ions fill in two-thirds of the octahedral gap. This is as stable α as natural corundum – Al2O3 structure. Therefore, ceramics have high melting point, high hardness, and excellent wear resistance.
The hardness of this alumina ceramic wafer material ≥HRA85, second only to the hardness of diamond. The surface lubrication friction coefficient is small. The wear resistance function is very ambitious, especially in high temperature oxidizing medium or corrosive medium. Therefore, ceramic patch data is much superior to other metal data function.

Functional features of these alumina ceramic wafer:
1.High hardness
Its Rockwell hardness is HRA80-90, second only to diamond, far exceeding the wear-resistant function of wear-resistant steel and stainless steel.
2.Excellent wear-resistant function
Its wear resistance is equivalent to 266 times that of manganese steel. It is also 171.5 times that of high-chromium cast iron. According to our customer tracking survey for more than ten years, under equal working conditions, the service life of the equipment can extend by at least ten times.
3.Light weight
Its density of 3.5g/cm3 is only half that of steel, which can greatly reduce the load on equipment, making alumina ceramic wafer ideal for applications needing reduced weight.
4.Wide range of applications
For example, all the mechanical equipment of thermal power, steel, exercise, machinery, coal, mining, chemical, cement, port, and terminal companies can benefit. This includes areas such as coal transportation, material conveying system, milling system, ash discharge, and dust removal system.
