Technical Alumina Ceramic
Technical Alumina ceramic has good flexural strength, high stability, high compressive strength, and good cold and hot denaturation. What are the technical parameters of alumina ceramics?
Technical alumina ceramic components are recognized for their durability and efficiency in various high-performance applications.
- High-purity advanced alumina ceramics: ceramic materials with Al2O3 content of more than 99.9%. They have a sintering temperature of up to 1650-1990 °C and a transmission wavelength of 1~6μm. Consequently, advanced alumina ceramic products are often made of molten glass to replace platinum crucibles.
- Ordinary alumina ceramics: according to the different Al2O3 content, they split into 99 porcelain, 95 porcelain, 90 porcelain, 75 porcelain, and other varieties. Sometimes Al2O3 content in 80% or 75% is also classified as ordinary alumina ceramic series!

The main uses of alumina ceramics:
(1) Electronic devices: tube shells, circuit substrates, radomes, and high-temperature and high-voltage insulation materials for high-voltage switches. This includes advanced technical alumina ceramic components.
(2) Wear-resistant materials: ball mill lining, wear-resistant alumina ceramic balls, and ceramic roller. Alumina (corundum) mortars, metal liquid stirring rods, etc.
(3) High-temperature devices: high-temperature furnace tubes (internal thread and external thread furnace tubes). Other applications are high-temperature metal-liquid delivery tubes, high-temperature alumina ceramic thermocouple tubes, and ceramic crucibles. Additional uses include advanced technical alumina ceramic tubes, high-temperature ceramic pressure rods (pressure sensors), and high-temperature burners (argon arc welding burners). They also include transparent sodium lamps and high-temperature windows.
(4) Mechanical parts: cutting grinding tools, wear-resistant porcelain parts of textile machines, and parts of sewage pump and acid (alkali) resistant pump. It also includes alumina ceramic sealing ring valve parts, automobile spark plugs, metal wire drawing dies, and ceramic armor protection plates. It further includes advanced technical alumina ceramic instrument bearings, artificial gemstones, and sandblasting nozzles, etc.
